Welcome to the MUHSD 2019 Summer Instructional Design Institute
The Merced Union High School District Instructional Design Summer Institute 2019 will take place:
June 10-13 at Buhach Colony HS from 8:30-3PM
July 29-August 1at El Capitan HS from 8:30-3PM

To REGISTER for this amazing conference:

  2. Select your sessions 
Sessions
Select only the sessions that interest you. Earn up to 25 hours of extra compensation (total) for the June + July/Aug dates. The movie screenings do not count against the 25 hour cap-so please plan to attend these free film screening for an amazing, thought-provoking experience! Reminder: the movie is playing at both the 1st and 2nd Institutes; however, attendees can only be compensated for seeing the movie once.

Individual session capacity is limited. Entry to a given session will be prioritized according to who has signed up and selected sessions in Sched.org. There is no sitting on the floor in any classroom, and waitlisted people are advised to choose another session. Participants will not be compensated for any time in which they leave a session early.  

Pay for Service Contracts
Compensation for this event requires the following steps:
STEP 1: On your first day of attendance, you will go to the library and complete the highlighted areas of a Pay for Service Contract
STEP 2:  Look on the front wall of each classroom for the link to the session’s feedback form.  Submit the google FEEDBACK FORM for every session you attend.  Providing feedback for each session is directly tied to earning compensation for the session. Submitting the google form is REQUIRED in order to be paid.  While we are collecting names/emails to track attendance, your name/email will not be disclosed to the presenter.

To sum up: Complete a paper contract in the library, and provide feedback at the end of each session attended.  Following those steps is how you’ll be compensated for your time at the Summer Institute.

Devices
Participants should bring a fully-charged device (chromebook, laptop) to be prepared for active participation.  Cell phone only will not suffice.
